Don't Tap the Glass was inspired by Tyler, the Creator's actual song. Throughout my life, I have listened to a lot of his music, and this newest album really inspired me. I made this piece in my first Motion Media class!

This piece is based on short clips from the movie Barbie. For our final project, we were given the chance to put everything we have learned into something meaningful or informational. I decided to pick a topic that was touchy for me growing up as a mixed person. I grew up with Barbie dolls, as most girls did. But I never had a Barbie that looked like me. But this movie meant everything to me when it came out, as it was all about feminism and our place in the world as women.

This piece is called Spin. For this assignment, I had to synchronize the sound to the movement of the basic shapes we were given, and with all this playing around, I fell in love with it!

Last quarter I made a fun mock ad inspired by The North Face. I handled the motion + editing side in After Effects, pulling together and reworking a series of already existing North Face ads into a cohesive piece. I built the pacing and emotion of the edit around Bon Iver's "Wash." to give it a more atmospheric, reflective and emotional tone.
